Art in Paradise Pattaya was Thailand's first 3D interactive art museum and remains its largest, covering over 5,800 square metres since opening in 2012. More than 150 large paintings are executed on walls and floors in forced perspective, so that from a marked camera position the visitor appears inside the scene — falling into a chasm, riding an animal, gripped by a sea creature, walking into a classical painting. Themed zones cover underwater worlds, wildlife, Egyptian and classical settings, and reworked famous artworks.

The value depends entirely on participation. The paintings are unremarkable from any angle except the intended one, and the museum is designed around photographing each other from the marked spots. Groups and families get a great deal from it; solo visitors considerably less, since someone needs to hold the camera.

Two to three hours is realistic for the full circuit at an unhurried pace, and it is fully indoors and air-conditioned, which matters in Pattaya's heat and during the rainy season. The building is wheelchair accessible.
