Choco-Story is a Belgian-founded chain of chocolate museums, and the Prague branch covers the standard arc: cacao in Mesoamerica, its arrival in Europe, the development of solid eating chocolate, and modern production, with historical moulds, packaging and equipment.
Live demonstrations of tempering and moulding run through the day, and tastings are included at several points.
Czech chocolate has its own history — the Orion brand, founded in Prague in 1896, was a substantial central European producer, nationalised under communism and now part of Nestlé — and the local dimension is covered.
Workshops let visitors make their own bars or pralines.
