Bacalhoa Adega Museu at Azeitao, south of Lisbon across the Tagus, is a working wine estate that has assembled a serious art collection alongside the cellars — sculpture, ceramics, contemporary painting and antiquities displayed among the vats and barrels, with pieces installed through the grounds.

The Setubal peninsula produces Moscatel de Setubal, a fortified muscat aged in cask, alongside table wines, and the estate's tastings cover both. Bacalhoa also owns the nearby Quinta da Bacalhoa, a fifteenth-century palace with early azulejo panels of considerable art-historical importance.
