The Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences, also known as MUCBO, is a museum and botanical garden in Sóller, Spain, dedicated to the natural heritage of the Balearic Islands. It features permanent exhibitions on geology, paleontology, and biodiversity, as well as a botanical garden showcasing Mediterranean and Balearic flora.

MUCBO in Soller combines a natural sciences museum with a botanical garden, and both concentrate on the Balearics specifically — islands whose isolation produced endemic species found nowhere else.

The palaeontology is the striking part. Mallorca was home to Myotragus balearicus, a small goat-antelope that evolved in isolation over millions of years into something genuinely strange: forward-facing eyes, continuously growing incisors, a reduced metabolism and a slow reptile-like growth pattern, apparently as adaptations to an island with no predators and limited food. It survived until humans arrived around 5,000 years ago.

The botanical garden holds Balearic and Mediterranean flora, including endemic species and traditional cultivated varieties, laid out on terraces.

Soller sits in a valley of orange groves behind the Tramuntana mountains, reached from Palma by the historic wooden train, which is an attraction in itself.
