The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum offers an exciting and educational experience, transporting visitors back over 300 years to the Golden Age of Piracy with interactive exhibits and over 800 authentic pirate artifacts.

The St Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum holds over 800 genuine artefacts, which distinguishes it from most attractions in this territory — including one of only two surviving authentic Jolly Roger flags in the world, and Captain Thomas Tew's treasure chest.
The Golden Age of Piracy ran roughly from the 1650s to the 1730s, and the Florida coast was central to it: the Spanish treasure fleets sailed the Gulf Stream up this shore, which is precisely why pirates operated here and why hurricanes scattered wrecks along it.
Interactive exhibits, a recreated ship's deck and games make it work for children while the artefact collection holds adults.
The museum was formerly in Key West and relocated in 2010.
