Jelinak Bay, near Trogir on the Dalmatian coast, holds Croatia's only underwater sculpture installation. Figures stand on the seabed at depths reachable by snorkellers as well as divers, with an eight-metre statue as the largest work and a sunken aircraft placed alongside as an additional dive feature.

The Adriatic here is exceptionally clear and comparatively cold, with visibility that regularly exceeds twenty metres, which means the shallower works are genuinely visible from the surface — a practical advantage over installations that require certification.

Marine growth has begun colonising the concrete, and fish shelter among the figures.

The bay is a quiet inlet away from the crowds of Split, Trogir and the islands, and trips generally combine the sculptures with swimming and time on the boat.
