3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum

The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, located at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, is the first sports-related museum in the Middle East. Opened on 30 March 2022, it features interactive exhibits, inspiring artifacts, and activity areas for diverse audiences. The museum delves into the value and positive impact of sports, its origins, development, and culture in Qatar and beyond. Designed by Spanish architect Joan Sibina, the museum’s cylindrical glass structure is surrounded by five illuminated Olympic rings. It is a member of the Olympic Museum Network, uniting 22 Olympic museums worldwide.

The 3-2-1 museum at Khalifa International Stadium was the first sports museum in the Middle East, opened in 2022 shortly before Qatar hosted the World Cup. Activity zones let visitors test reaction time, sprint speed, strength and balance against athlete benchmarks, which is the part children head for.

The Olympic memorabilia includes torches from successive games and objects donated by athletes, and the collection is genuinely substantial rather than decorative. The stadium setting matters — Khalifa hosted World Cup matches and the museum is built into the structure.
