Paradox Museum Paris opened in 2024 with over 90 interactive exhibits, making it one of the largest in the network — a substantially fuller offering than the standard branch.

The installations cover the range of perceptual contradiction: rooms engineered so scale and gravity read wrongly, mirrored infinity spaces, a vortex tunnel, and scenes that only work from a marked position, each explained in terms of the visual mechanism being exploited.

That scale changes the visit from a quick circuit to something closer to ninety minutes or more.

Paris is not short of museums, and the case for this one is specific: it is participatory, it works with children who have been marched through the Louvre, and it is entirely indoors.

Note that a separate Museum of Illusions also operates in the city. Timed entry is used. The main booking is an entrance ticket. Current availability is shown below.
