Over 200 vehicles from 80 marques run from the late nineteenth century to the present, with the Italian holdings understandably strong: Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and the coachbuilders — Pininfarina, Bertone, Ghia — whose design work made Turin the world capital of automotive styling.

Turin is the right city for it. Fiat was founded here in 1899 and the city was built around the industry, with the Lingotto factory and its rooftop test track a short distance away.
