The Victory Museum in Baku commemorates Azerbaijan's victory in the Second Karabakh War of 2020, a 44-day conflict that recovered territory Azerbaijan had lost to Armenian forces in the 1990s and displaced large numbers of people on both sides across three decades.
The museum presents the Azerbaijani account: military equipment, captured materiel, uniforms, weapons, documentation of the campaign, and material honouring servicemen killed. Displays of destroyed and captured Armenian equipment form part of it, which some international visitors find confronting.
